Come and join us for a day of singing, led by renowned composer, singer, and workshop leader Anna Tabbush. We will explore a variety of musical styles and learn new techniques. The day will conclude with an informal performance - family and friends are welcome.
No experience or music-reading ability is required – just a love of music and singing, and a desire to explore new opportunities!
Anna is a composer, choir conductor, singer and multi-instrumentalist based in West Sussex. She is well-known in the choral world for her socially conscious song-writing. In 2020 she wrote Harbour in support of refugees. Since then the song has been sung by choirs and singers all around the world and has recently been included in German publisher Carus-Verlag’s anthology of 47 works by female composers.
Anna has performed as a folk-singer and fiddler since she was a teenager. She has been an active musician on the folk scene for over twenty years and currently performs both as a folk singer-songwriter and as part of a cappella quartet Oaken.
